Jewelry Care
You love your beautiful bling – learn how to take care of it with this handy guide to maintenance.
1. General Care
-
Sterling silver is delicate and requires careful handling. Remove your jewelry before bathing, swimming, exercising, or cleaning.
Maintain your jewelry’s shine by avoiding exposure to chemicals including perfumes, lotions, makeup, hair products, soap, and cleaning agents.
Protect pieces from extreme heat and impact, as stones may crack, break, or scratch if mishandled.
Always wear your rubber or metal safety backs with your earrings to prevent loss.
When not being worn, store your jewelry in a safe, dry place such as a jewelry pouch or lined box.
2. Cleaning & Maintenance
-
Gently polish your jewelry using a soft polishing cloth, rubbing in one direction.
Do not use tissue paper, paper towels, or abrasive cleaners, as these may cause scratches.
Silver cleaner may be used on solid sterling silver pieces, but is not recommended for 18k Yellow Gold Vermeil or 18k Gold Vermeil items.
3. Storage
-
When not wearing your jewelry, store it in a dry, secure place such as a jewelry pouch or lined box.
