To preserve your beautiful bling, learn how to care for it with this handy guide to ring maintenance.

We strongly recommend removing your jewelry before engaging in any activities that can lead to contact with moisture or friction to maintain luster and prolong life.All Keeponsale jewelry should be kept dry. When you’re not wearing your jewelry, to minimize scratches,keep it stored in the bag and box it came in. When you take off your jewelry, wipe it down with the cloth we provide in order to remove the naturally occurring oils from your skin and restore its shine.

The following guidelines will help to assure your beautiful bling for your jewelry:


Remove your jewelry especially during the following activities
•  Swimming /Spa: Don't wear jewelry In swimming pools and spas - Chlorinated water can react with the metals found in jewelry,causing color changes and even structural damage. Therefore it's a good idea to remove jewelry before entering the pool or spa.
• Bathing : Remove your jewelry before bathing - Remove all jewelry before showering or cleaning. Soap can cause a film to form, making it look dull and dirty. By preventing the formation of this film,you will immediately reduce the occasions of servicing.
• Gym: Be sure remove your jewelry before fitness.
As for taking your ring to the gym, lifting weights with it on can be hazardous. You wouldn't want a heavy dumbbell touching your stone.
• Sports:Be sure to remove your jewelry before playing sports and engaging in any activities that cause you to sweat.Especially holding a tennis racket tightly is particularly not good for a ring.
• Cleaning:  It's a good idea not to wear your ring while doing the dishes.Harsh chemical soaps or cleansers can soil the ring. 
• Cooking:  Be careful in the kitchen.Cookie dough, turkey loaf, a pie  crust… it's great to mix with your fingers. But these foods can leave a film on your ring and really affect its luster.


Keep away
• If you apply colognes, perfumes, fragrances or other chemical products be sure to do so before putting on your jewelry.
• Keep it free of Lotion, sunscreen and perfume. These products can stain your jewelry.
• Never use any detergents or other chemicals to clean your jewelry as they will damage the finish.


Jewelry Storage
Keep your jewelry in a container and prevent pieces from moving around. Store your jewelry in a fabric-lined jewelry case or in a box with compartments and dividers. If you prefer to use regular boxes, wrap each piece individually in soft tissue paper. We recommend that you store your jewelry box in a dry, cool and secure place.
